Monastic Body left for winter residence
The Central Monk Body, yesterday, left Thimphu to their winter residence in Punakha.
His Holiness the Je Khenpo and the monks of the Zhung Dratshang were seen off by the Prime Minister Lyonchhen Jigmi Y. Thinley, cabinet ministers, and senior government officials from Tashichhodzong early yesterday morning.

Bhutan this year saw maximum tourist inflow in the country. The reason stated was partly due to the Coronation and Centenary Celebration and Bhutan being perceived as safe, peaceful and exotic destination.

Civil servants, villagers restores monuments

Car rally arrives in the Capital
The classic car rally which started in the Netherlands arrived in the Bhutanese capital Thimphu last week.
